Series X booting — you can hear it, the light is on — but the TV stays black? Look into the HDMI socket with a torch first. Bent or pushed-back gold pins are the usual cause, and they do not mean the console is finished.
The Series X is heavy and usually stood upright, so a knocked or trodden-on cable puts real leverage on the connector. The port gives way before the board does, which is the good outcome.
Brand new replacement HD socket, HDMI compatible.
This is board-level work. Hot air to lift the old port, then reflow the new one onto the pads. A soldering iron will not do it — this needs a rework station, flux and experience, or a shop that has them.
Fits: Xbox Series X only.
Does not fit: Xbox Series S — it uses a completely different port, and we stock that one separately. Also not Xbox One or One X.
Check the cable and another TV input before you open anything. A failing lead looks exactly the same.
