Power: runs on two AA batteries, or on a rechargeable battery pack if you already have one. No pack or batteries are included.
Worth knowing: this is a third-party pad, not a Microsoft original. It talks to the console over the 360's own 2.4GHz wireless, so it will not pair to a PC without the separate Microsoft wireless receiver dongle. If PC is your goal, the wired version is the cheaper and simpler answer.
