SNES, N64 or GameCube looking fuzzy on a modern TV? All three share the same multi-out, and all three look dramatically better off S-Video than off the yellow composite plug. This cable pulls the S-Video signal and converts it to HDMI at 1080p inside the cable, so one lead does the whole job.
What this fixes
- A soft picture with dot crawl on text and edges
- A modern TV with no yellow, red and white inputs
- Needing a separate upscaler box
Fits
- Super Nintendo and Super Famicom
- Nintendo 64
- Nintendo GameCube
Does not fit
The original NES, which uses a different connector. PAL SNES multi-out shapes vary, so check yours first.

Common questions
Is S-Video really better than composite? Yes, noticeably. It separates brightness from colour, which kills the dot crawl you see on text and sharp edges.
One cable for all three consoles? Yes. SNES, N64 and GameCube share the same multi-out port.
