We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

Free shipping on orders over $50

The full rundown

A complete replacement capacitor set for the original Super Nintendo SHVC mainboard.

Fits: the original full size SNES on an SHVC board. Not the later SNES Jr / Mini, which uses a different board and a different set we list separately.

Check your board before ordering. Open the console and read the revision printed on the mainboard. Outwardly the original SNES and the Jr are obviously different shapes, so if yours is the smaller rounded console with no eject button, you want the Jr set.

Fixes: audio hum or buzz, a picture that is dim or wavy, colour that looks washed out, and a console that powers on intermittently.

Worth knowing: SNES consoles yellow badly but usually still work, so a recap is about picture and sound quality rather than reviving a dead machine. If yours is dead entirely, check the power supply first, since the SNES brick fails far more often than the console does.
