We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

The Hyperkin RetroN 1 AV is a simple NES clone that plays original cartridges and outputs composite AV.

Plays: NES and Famicom cartridges. Original NES controllers plug into the front ports, and one wired controller is included.

Why people buy one: it has no 72-pin connector to wear out, so it does not blink at you. If your original front-loader has given up and you only want to play the games, this costs a fraction of a repaired console.

Worth knowing: composite AV only, no HDMI, so on a modern television it will look soft. If you want HDMI, look at the RetroN 2 HD or the RetroN 3 HD instead. Being a clone, a small number of games behave oddly and the audio is close rather than exact. At this price that is the trade.
