A high capacity replacement battery for the PSP 2000 and PSP 3000, rated at 2400mAh against the 1200mAh cell Sony fitted.
Fits: the PSP 2000 and PSP 3000 slim models. Not the original fat PSP 1000, which uses a different cell.
Replace a swollen battery immediately. Lithium cells of this age commonly swell, and a swollen one will bow the back cover or make the console rock on a flat surface. Do not keep charging it. That matters more than runtime.
Worth knowing, honestly: aftermarket capacity ratings are routinely optimistic. Expect a real improvement over a worn original, but treat 2400mAh as the label rather than a promise. A high capacity cell is slightly thicker, so the cover can be a firmer fit.
