We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

A high capacity replacement battery for the original PSP 1000, rated at 3600mAh against the 1800mAh cell Sony fitted.

Fits: the PSP 1000, the original fat model. Not the 2000, 3000 or Go, which use a different cell.

Replace a swollen battery immediately. Lithium cells of this age commonly swell, and a swollen battery will bow the back cover or make the console sit unevenly. Do not keep charging one. That is the single most important reason to replace a twenty year old PSP battery, well ahead of runtime.

Worth knowing, honestly: aftermarket capacity ratings are routinely optimistic. Expect a real improvement over a worn original, but treat 3600mAh as the label rather than a promise. A high capacity cell is also slightly thicker, which on some units makes the cover a firmer fit.

If your PSP will not hold charge at all and a new battery does not fix it, the charge port is the next thing to check.
