A fully clear replacement housing for the PSone, the small flat redesign with the flip-up lid, showing the board and drive through.
Fits: the PSone slim model only. Not the original fat PlayStation, which is a completely different shape and shell.
Why PSones need this: Sony's light grey plastic yellows, and the flat lid collects scratches from whatever gets stacked on it. A new shell never yellows again.
Clear shows everything. Clean the drive and board before they go in. Smoke gray is the forgiving option and we list that too.
This is cosmetic, not a repair. For discs that will not read, look at our PS1 laser lens and the power board capacitor sets, which are the two usual causes.
