We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

Free shipping on orders over $50

The full rundown

A complete replacement capacitor set for Sony PlayStation 1 Panasonic Type 29 power boards.

Fits this board number: 1-473-380-12 (Panasonic ETXNY029A1C). The number is printed on the power board itself.

Covers: C003 120uF 200v, C102 and C103 560uF 25v, C104 180uF 25v, C105 180uF 35v and C107 1uF 50v.

Check your board before ordering. Panasonic alone made several incompatible PS1 power boards, so Type 122, Type 169 and Type 029 all need different kits. We list each one. Read the number off the board rather than guessing from the console's age.

This is the first thing to check on a dead PS1. Power board capacitors fail far more often than the laser does, and a tired power board starves the laser, which makes a perfectly good drive look worn out.

Worth knowing: mains-side work. Unplug the console and let it sit before opening it.
