A replacement touch screen digitizer for the Nintendo DSi XL. This is the thin resistive touch layer that sits on top of the lower screen, with the ribbon cable attached.
Fits: the Nintendo DSi XL (UTL-001), the bottom screen only. Not the standard DSi, which uses a smaller digitizer we list separately.
Fixes: touch that does not register, touch that lands in the wrong place, dead patches in one area of the screen, and a touch surface scratched cloudy by years of stylus use.
Does not fix a broken display. If your lower screen is cracked, black, showing lines or has no backlight, that is the LCD underneath and this part will not help. The digitizer is clear and colourless, so if you can still see the picture clearly but touch is wrong, this is the part you want.
Worth knowing: the XL screen is larger and thinner in proportion, so it flexes more while you seat it. Take the ribbon into its ZIF connector slowly. Recalibrate in system settings afterwards. No soldering required.
