We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

A replacement 1750mAh rechargeable battery for the Nintendo 3DS XL, matching the capacity Nintendo fitted.

Fits: the 3DS XL (SPR-001) and the New 3DS XL (RED-001). Both use the same SPR-003 cell.

Fixes: a console that runs for minutes rather than hours, one that dies the moment it leaves the charger, and a battery that has started to swell.

Replace a swollen battery immediately. If the back cover bulges or the console will not sit flat, stop charging it. On a clamshell the swelling can crack the shell or press on the lower screen from behind.

Worth knowing: the 3DS XL battery is behind a single Phillips screw on the back, so this is one of the easiest repairs on the system. If a new battery does not fix a console that will not charge, the charge port is next.
