The top screen is the 3D one, and it is the one that cracks when a 3DS gets closed on something. This is the upper LCD panel for the original launch-model 3DS - a real display replacement, not a lens or a digitizer.

What this fixes

  • A cracked or shattered top screen
  • Dead pixels, coloured lines or bands across the upper display
  • A top screen that stays black while the bottom one still works
  • Half the top screen displaying and half not
