Email usThe full rundown
A replacement touch screen digitizer for the New Nintendo 2DS XL. This is the thin resistive touch layer that sits on top of the lower screen, with the ribbon cable attached.
Fits: the New Nintendo 2DS XL (JAN-001), the clamshell 2DS, bottom screen only. Not the original flat slab 2DS, which is a different machine.
Fixes: touch that does not register, touch that lands in the wrong place, dead patches in one area of the screen, and a touch surface scratched cloudy by years of stylus use.
Does not fix a broken display. If your lower screen is cracked, black, showing lines or has no backlight, that is the LCD underneath and this part will not help.
Worth knowing: the 2DS XL is the most awkward of the family to open, with ribbons running through the hinge. Work slowly and keep the screws in order. Recalibrate in system settings afterwards. No soldering required.
