We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

Free shipping on orders over $50

The full rundown

A complete replacement capacitor set for the top-loading NES mainboard.

Fits: the top-loading NES-101, the later redesign that drops cartridges in from above. The front-loader uses a different board and we sell that set separately.

Fixes: audio hum or buzz, a picture that is dim, wavy or rolling, and a console that powers on intermittently.

Worth knowing: the top-loader has no lockout chip and no 72-pin connector problems, which is why it is the more reliable NES. That also means that when one does misbehave, the capacitors are a far more likely cause than they would be on a front-loader. Note the top-loader outputs RF only as standard, so a poor picture may simply be RF rather than a fault.
