The full rundown

Want GameCube feel on an N64 pad?

Same Hall effect principle as any drift-proof module - position is read magnetically, with nothing rubbing, so it cannot wear down the way the original geared stick does.

What makes this one different is the cap: it is shaped in the style of the GameCube stick, and it is slightly wider than a standard N64 replacement. Plenty of people prefer that dished, grippier top for long sessions; purists who want the pad to feel exactly as it did in 1996 should take the true-to-original version instead.

Drops into any official N64 controller shell.
