A translucent purple replacement housing for the Nintendo 64, top and bottom, so you can retire a shell that has gone yellow, scuffed or cracked.
Fits: the standard Nintendo 64 console. Your existing board, cartridge slot, expansion port and controller ports all transfer across.
This is cosmetic, not a repair. It will not fix a console that does not work. What it does fix is thirty years of yellowing, sun fade, scratches and cracked screw posts, and a translucent shell lets the board show through.
You will need a 4.5mm security bit to open the N64 in the first place. Nintendo used tamper-proof screws, and a normal screwdriver will not touch them. We sell the bits and replacement security screws separately, so add one if you do not already have it.
Worth knowing: set aside an hour and keep the screws in order as they come out, because they are not all the same length. The expansion pak door and controller port block transfer from the old shell.
