We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

Free shipping on orders over $50

The full rundown

An adapter that adds three more systems to a Hyperkin RetroN 5. It slots into the console's Genesis cartridge port and lets the RetroN 5 read formats it otherwise cannot.

Adds: Sega Game Gear, Sega Master System, and Master System Card. Those games then run through the RetroN 5's HDMI output with the same upscaling, save states and filters as everything else.

Requires a RetroN 5. This is an adapter, not a console. On its own it does nothing. It will not work in an original Genesis, a Mega RetroN or any other machine.

Why it is worth having: Game Gear hardware is notoriously the least reliable of its era, with capacitors that leak and screens that fail. Running the cartridges on something that works, in HD on a television, sidesteps all of that. If your Game Gear is dead and you would rather play than solder, this is the shortcut.
