Email usThe full rundown
The stick is the part of an N64 controller that dies. The bowl wears, the gear shaves itself into white powder, and the centre point wanders. The Captain+ replaces that whole mechanism with a Hall Effect stick, which senses position magnetically. There is no wiper touching anything, so there is nothing to grind down and nothing to drift.
The thing that separates this from most modern N64 pads: the accessory port still works. Memory cards and Rumble Paks go in and function, so you are not giving up your saves to get a stick that lasts.
What this fixes
- A worn original stick that will not return to centre
- Drift in menus and camera control
- A short cable that puts you right up against the TV
- Third-party pads that drop the accessory port entirely
What you get
A wired controller with the classic N64 button layout, a dual-layer PCB for faster response, and a 10-foot cable. Frost is the transparent finish, so the internals and the board show through.
Fits
- Nintendo 64, all regions
- ModRetro M64
- Analogue consoles with an N64 controller port
Does not fit
SNES and GameCube. Different port, different pinout.

Common questions
Why Hall Effect? Drift comes from a physical contact wearing out. Magnets do not touch, so they do not wear.
Will my Rumble Pak work? Yes. The accessory port is live.
Is the stick shaped like the original? Yes, it keeps the original N64 stick profile and analog range rather than a GameCube-style cap.
