A translucent purple replacement housing for the Nintendo GameCube, so you can retire a shell that has gone scuffed, scratched or cracked.
Fits: the standard Nintendo GameCube. Your existing board, disc drive, controller ports and memory card slots all transfer across.
This is cosmetic, not a repair. It will not fix a console that does not read discs. For that, look at our GameCube laser capacitor set, which is the usual cause.
You will need a 4.5mm security bit to open a GameCube. Nintendo used tamper-proof screws and a standard driver will not fit. We sell the bits separately.
Worth knowing: the GameCube is one of the more pleasant consoles to reshell, with a sensible layout and few hidden clips. The handle is part of the lower shell, so it comes with the kit.
