A drop-in replacement battery contact set for the Game Boy Pocket, the springs and plates the two AAA cells press against.
Fits: the Game Boy Pocket (MGB-001).
This is the number one reason a Game Boy will not switch on. Leaked alkaline batteries eat the contacts. Green or white crust, pitted metal, a spring gone black. The console is almost always fine.
Try this first, free: scrub with white vinegar on a cotton bud, then isopropyl, then dry completely. If shiny metal comes back and it powers on, you are done. If the metal is pitted through or a spring has lost tension, replace them.
Drop-in means no soldering. They press into the same slots the originals sat in.
