We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

A replacement speaker for the original Game Boy DMG, the same size and impedance as the one Nintendo fitted.

Fits: the original Game Boy DMG-01. Solders to the existing pads on the board, so no modification is needed.

Fixes: sound that crackles, buzzes, cuts in and out, or has gone completely dead on a console that otherwise works.

Check this first, free: plug headphones in. If the sound through headphones is clean, the fault is after the amplifier, which points at the speaker or its solder joints. If headphones are also bad, the speaker is not your problem and you are looking at the capacitors or the amp instead.

Worth knowing: DMG speakers often fail at the joints rather than the cone. Reflowing the two pads costs nothing and fixes it surprisingly often. Try that before you desolder anything.
