We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

A drop-in replacement battery contact set for the original Game Boy DMG, the springs and plates the four AA cells press against.

Fits: the Game Boy DMG-01.

This is the number one reason a Game Boy will not switch on. Alkaline batteries left in for years leak, and the leak eats the contacts. Green or white crust, pitted metal, a spring that has gone black. The console is almost always fine. The contacts are not.

Try this first, free: scrub the contacts with white vinegar on a cotton bud, then isopropyl, then dry them completely. If shiny metal comes back and the console powers on, you are done and you spent nothing. If the metal is pitted right through or a spring has lost its tension, replace them.

Drop-in means no soldering. They press into the same slots the originals sat in. A shell teardown and ten minutes.
