We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

A drop-in replacement battery contact set for the Game Boy Color, the springs and plates the two AA cells press against.

Fits: the Game Boy Color (CGB-001).

This is the number one reason a Game Boy Color will not switch on. Leaked alkaline batteries eat the contacts. Green or white crust, pitted metal, a spring gone black. The console itself is almost always fine.

Try this first, free: scrub with white vinegar on a cotton bud, then isopropyl, then dry completely. If shiny metal comes back and it powers on, you spent nothing. If the metal is pitted through or a spring has lost tension, replace them.

Drop-in means no soldering. They press into the same slots the originals sat in. If the battery door is also missing, we sell those.
