It is here now. Packed and tracked within 3 business days, then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

Sound gone crackly, or the screen only wakes up sometimes?

Game Boy Colors are nearly thirty years old and the surface-mount capacitors on the mainboard dry out. You get scratchy or dead audio, a screen that needs a smack to start, or a console that powers on and then quits. None of that is the LCD and none of it is the cartridge slot - it is the caps.

This is the full mainboard set for a GBC recap. Soldering required: these are SMD parts and you will want fine tweezers, flux and a decent iron. If you have never recapped a board before, practise on a dead one first.
