A laminated IPS backlit screen kit for the original Game Boy Advance, the wide AGB-001 model.
Fits: the original Game Boy Advance (AGB-001). Not the clamshell SP, which takes a different kit we list separately.
Why the GBA needs this more than most: the original AGB-001 screen is unlit and genuinely dark. Nintendo knew it, which is why the SP arrived with a frontlight two years later. An IPS panel does not just brighten it, it makes the console properly playable indoors for the first time.
Read this before you buy. This is a modification, not a repair. The panel is larger than the original, so the shell needs trimming and soldering to the mainboard is required. A trimmed shell cannot be untrimmed.
