We order it in for you

Order today, arrives Nov 17 - Nov 20

We do not hold this one on the shelf. We raise the order with our wholesaler, it comes to us, we check it and we pack it, within 7 business days. Then 2 to 5 business days with USPS.

Business days, so weekends do not count. Public holidays can push the later date out. Shipping to Canada adds roughly 5 to 15 business days and customs can extend that, so we do not promise a date there.

The full rundown

A replacement speaker for the Game Boy Color and Game Boy Pocket, the same size and impedance as the original.

Fits: the Game Boy Color (CGB-001) and the Game Boy Pocket (MGB-001). These two share a speaker. The original DMG and the Advance use different ones, listed separately.

Fixes: sound that crackles, buzzes, cuts in and out, or has gone completely dead on a console that otherwise works.

Check this first, free: plug headphones in. Clean sound through headphones points at the speaker or its solder joints. Bad through headphones too means the fault is further back, and on a GBC that usually means the capacitors.

Worth knowing: reflow the two solder pads before replacing anything. Joints crack with age and drops, and that fixes it more often than a dead cone does.
