The full rundown

Cracked shell, stained plastic, or a GBA that has had a hard twenty years?

The housing takes all the damage the board never does. Drops crack the battery door and the shoulder buttons, sunlight turns the plastic yellow and blotchy, and no amount of cleaning undoes either one.

This is a complete smoke black housing kit - a tinted transparent shell you can still see the board through. Front and back shell, screen lens, the full button set, fresh conductive contact pads and the screws. Your board, screen and speaker move across into it.

The buttons in this kit are grey, not tinted. The shell is see-through; the buttons are not. Worth knowing if you were picturing a fully smoked build.

Plan on an hour with a tri-wing driver. Because new contact pads are in the box, the buttons come out feeling new rather than just looking new - that is usually the difference between a shell swap that feels worth it and one that does not.
