Scratched-up GBA screen making games hard to read?
The lens is the clear plastic cover over the LCD, and it is what collects the scratches. Replacing it costs a couple of dollars and takes ten minutes; replacing the LCD behind it costs many times that and usually is not necessary.
Adhesive is pre-applied. Get the recess properly clean before you seat it - any dust you leave under there is permanent.
It ships with a protective scuff film on the face that is genuinely hard to spot. Peel that off before you decide the lens arrived scratched.
